"Construal" was the word used in the Commission's report. I should  
have said "construct".
They said that there was an element of reconstruction in all forms of  
revived Cornish, but
KK was more artificial than the others.
KK has never met with universal approval; only partisan support of an  
unthinking kind.
Indeed some supporters admit that KK is flawed, but think that its  
inauthenticity doesn't matter.

The argument is over. KK has mercifully not won and it is time to move  
on. Someone should
explain that to the writer of the Cowethas document.
