[Spellyans] Schwa

Lhuyd came from Oswestry in Shropshire.  The area between Oswestry and the 
Welsh border was Welsh speaking in his day - and indeed mine when I did my 
National Service military training threre in the 1950s.

Lhuyd writes <dotted-y> to represent "I in Bird, or o in money". In the part 
of Wales from which Lhuyd came, these are pronounced [b at d] and [m at ni]. 
Perhaps AB could be searched for minimal contrast sets containing 
<dotted-y>.
