1. [gwi:l] is easier for Anglophones than [gy:l].
2. gwil lenites its initial to wil regularly. gul > wul is slightly  
less regular.
3. gweel seems to be the preferred form of LCR speakers and gwil is  
the same form as that.

Gul is good Cornish and cannot be proscribed. KS should allow both,  
but gwil might well
be considered the preferred form.
