Nance doesn't appear to give a plural for 'cal'. But he does give  
these (all with short -a- in the sing.):

bal, pl balow. tin-working
bal, pl balow. plague, pest
dral, pl., dralyow. bit. scrap
gal, pl. galow. villain
pal, pl. palys. mantle, pall
spral, pral, pl. -low. fetter, impediment

So, quite a mixed bunch of plurals for < -al > nouns!
