Except this: there is good evidence that the word for 'mother' was indeed pronounced with pre-occlusion.
There is not unequivocal evidence that the word for 'mountain' had a voiced final. The evidence from Lhuyd
is ambiguous and on theoretical grounds [meneD] is, in my view, unlikely.
