UC and UCR and RLC have [kɪst]. Other areal languages have [kɪst]. What makes George right? 

George changed Cornish in the 1980s to suit his own penchant for etymology and his admiration of Breton and Welsh. 

So long as the SWF assumes that KK is actually a worthy basis for the Revived Language, the SWF will have little value and no academic credibility. KK, as the Commissioners said, is a construal.
