There have been some attempts in the past. There is, for example, a
glibc locale for Cornish, but it is UC only (and incomplete):

[steve at dolmen ~]$ export LANG=kw_GB
[steve at dolmen ~]$ date
Lun Gen 31 10:51:26 GMT 2011

for example. I started looking at this area a while back, and got as far
as creating a page for Fedora:
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Cornish

However the effort has largely stalled, due to lack of time on my part.
I did get as far as figuring out what needs to be done though. I think
glibc is the right place to start, since there a lot of common system
messages are generated there.

There is also a set of computer related terms which have been translated
here:
http://www.kernewegva.com/PDFs/Gerva_Jynn_Amontya.pdf

which is a good start too. So there are some resources around. if
anybody wants to have a go at translating any of the projects which are
listed in the Fedora Transifex system, please drop me a line as I am
able to approve people to use that system,

Steve.
