No, it is not true. When Jed first joined, his Moderation bit was set to On, as is the bit of every member who joins until he or she writes a bio identifying himself or herself. When a moderated e-mail is held, the writer is notified of this. In this case, I read the e-mail, approved it, and cleared his moderation bit.

Perhaps you would care to ratchet down your tone of opprobrium. 

And perhaps Jed would like to retract his claim on C24.
