Thanks for the link, Andrew, but I only have Apple Mac computers. They already come with good keyboard layouts for diacritics, and I have one designed by Michael for Cornish which is very good.

However, despite all of that, it is simply a lot slower to type with diacritics than it is to do so without them. I know these modified keyboard layouts well, and have long experience of using them, but despite all that, it is still a lot slower.

I see no reason to type at under 30wpm with diacritics, when I can manage ca.60+wpm without them, unless (as I said in an earlier post) there is some compelling reason for including diacritics in what I'm typing.
