I am not sure I can agree with you about ik ~ ak. Look at the following:
mîz Du ken Nadelik Williams Gwavas
Ha Hâve en Guâve terebah Nedelack Ustick MSS
Nedelik Lhuyd AB: 17a
Nadelik, deu Nadelik Lhuyd AB: 97a.
Nadelik, Nedelik, Nedelack are the same word and are all from the same period.
