The last line of the englyn Den heb davas a gollas y dir has nothing to do with linguistic nationalism.
It means 'A man without a tongue lost his chance', i.e. if you don't speak up, you miss your opportunity.
I have discussed this englyn and two others in 'The Cornish englyn' Cornish Studies 15 (2007) 11-26.
