In devising KS orthography, we took into account the speech habits of good speakers of the “RMC” and “RLC” ends of the spectrum and described them; the orthography represents those pronunciations accurately (although many speakers use English diphthongs rather than purer vowels; KS recommends the latter). 

KS is more accurate and useful than any other orthography. (This is not an insult to older orthographies, but then they were developed at a time when knowledge of Cornish phonology was much much less than it is today.)
