Not if you help them.  However, that is a problem with the Cornish language scene, which has too many people who show disdain for those less able than themselves.

I found, as early as 1981, that a hefty number of  "language bards" tended to form a clique at the Gorsedh, distancing themselves from other bards and putting out a sort of air of "superiority".  The term "language bard" should never be used.  The Cornish Gorsedh rules state that there is only one class of bard, and that is "Bard".    The award is offered for a variety of reasons and achievements but, even so, I wasn't an "archaeology bard"; Roger Venables wasn't a "poetry bard", and David Penhaligon wasn't a "politics bard".  By the same token "language bard" does not exist.
