A statement I never made.

are all distinctively late forms.

My point remains this:
the Cornish of the 15-16th and 17-18th centuries are in a continuum.
It was a mistake to spell the latter period differently from the earlier.
Jenner didn't, Gendall did and we are suffering from the fallout.
