<oe>

I'm sure this will spark off a heated debate, but I'm going to dispute the <oe> is a Kemmynism, even though it's only currently used by KK.

I've listed all the vowels used historically, in place-names containing the elements <goon>, <loos> and <coos>, written before the demise of textual Cornish in 1776. The results may surprise many.
In these words, the vowel is most commonly represented by: <oe>, <oo>, <u> and <o>.

<oe>	11.8%
<oo>	9.9%
<u>		9.6%
<o>		5.9%

<oe> IS a traditional Cornish graph, not a KK invention. In my view, it reflects the progression from Old Cornish <ui> and Middle Cornish <oy> rather well.

Not refused, with some reason. Ignored. Instead, some poorly-redacted list of the headers of the submissions, without any argument to explain what they meant, was sent out. When I protested about this, I was ignored. No, not entirely ignored. I was invited to come over to talk to the management group about it.

Had they been sent to me, I could have written up my own review of them, and made that available as a resource to the Partnership and to the Review Board. I mean, I’m an expert on phonology and orthography, after all. All the Partnership and the Review Board would have to do was ignore my submission.
