The plural of chy in the texts is treven. And Lhuyd tells us that treven in the plural of chy s.v. Domus: Tshyi [pl. Treven] AB: 55c.
The plural *chiow where it occurs is in compounds, e.g. henjy.
In the revived language one must say clâvjiow 'hospitals'; lêtiow 'dairies', etc.
*Chiow per se is not attested in the texts.
