I would be likewise happy to 'chip in' as I did with An Beybel Sans.

This would constitute a formal project, and would need to be executed
professionally.   In this the services in various specialities of Craig,
Nicholas and Michael would prove invaluable.  Whether Oliver would see
himself as potentially and actively involved in this I do not know - but his
expertise would also be likewise invaluable.

I wonder whether this project could attract funding from such bodies an
Lottery Heritage who set up a language heritage line some years ago (Anthony
Powell Consultants and myself were on the advisory group.)

Also, think you are right here - it needs to be a serious map, not one with
sketches of tin mines, Dolly and shipwrecks put around the coast, but one
with the topography so people can use it to navigate and as a real Cornish
alternative to use for getting around. As you say needs a cartographer, as
this would be a lot of work and more time consuming for anyone with just
general skills, and difficult to achieve by amateurs without falling foul of
copyright laws on existing maps. Maybe Michael Everson has contacts with
these skills, and similar to 'an Beybel Sans' by Nicholas Williams, maybe it
could be funded by subscription.

Just a suggestion - I'd chip in on the same basis as I did with 'an Beybel
Sans'.

I think that is an excellent idea Herbie, a folded map and a poster size one
would be great... All we need is an artist.  :)

Following on from the maps' emails, any thought of producing a Cornish
