>Clearly whyth war gam cannot mean 'blow upon the way'
>Nor can gwask war gam mean 'strike upon the way'.
Rev. Williams (Lexicon Cornu-Britannicum p160) interprets 'war gam' as
'athwart, injury', and these two phrases as 'blow athwart' and 'strike
athwart' respectively. Don't know if that has been dismissed?
