[Spellyans] Some Cornish place-names with lyw

Carclew - Crug lyw, "barrow of colour".  Why should it not mean that?  Some excavated barrows in Cornwall were found to have been given an outer coating of highly coloured clay, rendering it visible from an appreciable distance.
